smoke

what is it when your exhaust is smoking white again???? i ran my car for about 10 minutes at around 2500 RPM prety steadily. the throtle has a VERY late response, even if i helt it constantly. 2 minutes into it, it was fine. is this because of the car siting for about 2 or 3 months??? i know i am having a problem with the condensation from runnign the car for a minute and shuttign it off. thats why i ran it like that today. i got the car up to normal temperature.. shut the car off, when i took off the oil cap, condensation, and steam started coming out of the oil filler cap. did it about twice and cleaned it out everytime. now i havent seen condensation anymore. i think i evaporeted all of it out. soon i will change my oil anyways, but do you think i got rid of all the condensation running it at 2500 RPM's for 10 minutes??? why was the car smoking white smoke???

10min, probably not. White smoke is usually a leaking injector. Do you normally let the car sit for 2-3 months ?

white smoke is a sign of water... possibly coolant, but that usually has a really nice smell along with it.

In ten minutes I would say no. If steam was still coming out of the oil filler tube then it will condense back. I would say it needs to be driven like for 30 minutes.

take it a good trip... like 10 miles each way (highway). That allows for the engine to reach a proper operating temp.

yeah.... Fram is a BAD brand. Uhmmmm..... I put in 4 quarts, run it for 30 seconds to fill the filter, and then top off. You better check ur oil level and be ready to remove some.

Wix/Napa Gold is a good choice. As is Purolator, Denso, Mobil 1, Union Sangyo Nippon, and...**** it. Here's a link with everything you'll ever want to know on the subject:

I've used Fram all the time w/o problems; now use original on maxima. Recently destroyed Opel engine with a plastics bit in main oil canal: cannot say if its because of fram, but I suspect that. Still that couls happen 'with any' mass volume product.
