Doing timing belt, what parts do I need?

It SHOULD NOT be pointing at the 11 o'clock position as shown in the FSM.

As long as you align the marks according to the picture above it, then it will go into the right place. if it doesn't fire, pull it out, turn the engine a full turn, then do it again.

and piston #1 should be at TDC when i do this correct??? if so then i was right in the first place and i don't have an FSM at all but i do have a Haynes but i just wanted to ask here just to make sure.

Provided you keep changing your oil when it needs to get changed, your timing chain is very resilient (it has to be to spin as fast until redline). It should theoretically require no maintenance for the normal life of the engine. If you do, however, have to remove the cover (for whatever reason), it would be a good thing to check the slack present in the chain (see the FSM for tolerences) to see if it requires adjustment or replacement.

i do change the oil every 2,000 miles n now im using the toyota filter, i might have an oil leak around that area i have to check it if it's that cover i'll check the belt . thank you,
