My road trip...
I finally made it to Tacoma, Wa on sunday morning. We left Albuquerque, NM at 10am on Saturday and drove non-stop (only stopping for gas) and arrived in Tacoma at 9am on Sunday. Everything went great.
The elevation is roughly 5500 ft in Albuquerque my car is soooo much faster here at sea level. I can't even get traction in first gear.
I was going to try to go to the nw maxima meet but I was wayyyyyyyy too tired. Who showed up there? Was the bbq pretty fun?

It's $45 total for test and tune up there? I bet it's cram packed and you only get a couple of runs, too. Last time in Woodburn I got around 8-9 runs in. I am also No. 23 in the overall points standings. Gail (5th gen) is No. 8. I need to check the schedule and try to make it down there again.
I am considering the NWNissan BBQ next weekend. I need to discuss it with my wife, though.
They usually get a lot of people to the meets, but most of them are 240sx "drift" guys. If the weather is good, possibly more NWMaxima member would go, but probably not a lot, since there was a meet yesterday. I would really have liked to go to that but my son just had surgery last Wednesday.
