I have a 94 SE 5spd

Friend just got a 2001 Sebring Coupe Automatic
Sebring has 200 hp (i've got 190) and rides on an eclipse type chassis

How much do each of these cars weigh? Who would win in a drag? I assume the manual transmission gives me maybe a half second difference or so in the 1/4. Is this accurate?

 

I dont know,But those Sebrings are monsters on the freeway I have a hard time with them in my modded VE.

 

2001 Sebring Coupes weigh between 3100 and 3200lbs.

I think youll be alright.

 

A Sebring convertible? It's even slower than the Galant V6, and thats a dog. Its published 0-60 times are 9.2 seconds. You can beat him with an auto GXE. And it weighs about 3,500 pounds, not 3200.

 

I have seen them take off on the freeway at a fairly quick pace. It will probably come down to the driver. To bad it aint the old 4 banger version.. Those things were ungodly slow.
