Manual calls for a "high tension" wire to set the timing - where do I get one of these?? I assume it is something similar to a standard spark plug wire that enables you to use an inductive timing light..... Thx in advance...

try putting the timing light on the coil packs wiring harness (#1 cyl) first Most guns can pick up a signal from there.

I was wondering about that too. I'm wondering if timing being off will cause the engine to misfire (like a putt-putt-putt) you can hear in the exhaust. As well as hesitation when trying to maintain cruising speed in lower gears.
