Power steering pump problem?

Hey guys, it's been awhile. Just recently my car started to make a buzzing noise coming out of the front passenger wheel well. The noise is there when I turn on the car and seems to increase in pitch the higher I rev the engine. The noise is the loudest when turning. It sounds to me a lot like an RC car motor. After looking at the FSM, I think the noise is coming from my power steering pump. Has anybody had a problem like this? What does it mean?

No, I just now found out where the darn thing is from looking at the online FSM. I didn't know there was a way to check the fluid level. I'll go look. Thanks.

There is a round black cylinder right in front of the passenger side strut tower with a cap on top of it....

I thought the pump was pulley-driven? Shouldn't it be down beneath that mess of hoses?
