Check first fluid levels, start from steering res (note: A/T fluid will quite soon eat joint etc rubber parts). If levels ok, engine plug is tight, keep going and smile...

The front crankseal loves to leak on these cars so I would target that area first.
Edit: Repair info if needed. http://www1.autozone.com/servlet/UiB...3d801f4967.jsp

The actual seal is probly around 20 bucks I think if your not to lazy to do it yourself (as I was) it should be cheap. If you are gonna pay for it expect a little bit of a bill since it would involve removing the timing belt and all of that jazz. and hey at least it isn't the rear engine seal, that would hurt you.

Hey MyBlue92Maxima, Im gonna be tackeling this job myself most likely this week on my 92.. I've never done it before You wanna hook up and do a team effort on our cars? I've got some good tools including the FSM and suitable puller Im getting from autozone. Is East Meadows far from Brooklyn?

Definitely get it from brian or the dealership....Every major parts store in my town [autozone, advance, etc.] tried to give me the wrong seal when i changed mine last year...

Make sure if you are going through the trouble to replace the front crank seal on a VG that you replace the timing belt and tensioner while you're in there. I would also replace the 2 cams seals while there also. They are just as prone to leak as the crank seal. If your timing belt has been contaminated with oil then it should be replaced anyway. Also take a look at your water pump. It's a lot better to address those items while it's apart than to have another seal or water pump go bad 6 months later. Good Luck!

From dealership frontseal 6$, As long as you have to remove your crank pully, perfect time for a UDP!!! Weather or not you put on a UDP, spend the $$ go to Autozone or your local autoparts store that loans out tools and get a puller kit. You might not need it, but I'll tell you if you do, its a great time saver. I picked up one at Advance, for 100$, used it and had my dough back within 2 hrs. And BOY did I need it!!!

I think it's good insurance to fix the oil leak and timing belt ASAP. If the belt is contaminated with oil it can be subject to fail anytime without warning. If that happens you will be spending a lot more money for a valve job than that for a belt, tensioner and 3 seals. That's if you don't destroy a piston, bend a rod or damage a head beyond repair. The VG30 family is one of the toughest engines ever made but you can't gamble on their timing belt. I can email you a picture of a piston from a 300zx that broke the timing belt due to oil contamination.

I dont think it will... but dont trust me, only u eyes.
Edit: And while youre there, check belt tightness. 20lb downwards load with a blunt screwdriver should cause half inch bend between cam sprockets. If its loose, no oil is needed for new tow company bill.
Your vehicle looks nice, howabout the suggested belt/seal change? Takes 80$, dirty hands plus canceling your full booked saturday.

Weird things do happen. Mostly they have a natural cause. Like your lot was used by UFO. Or no oil in the engine. Here one ufo was seen, and the liquid analyzed. Proved to be dish wash water... hmm, proves ufomen also use Fairy to wash they dishes. But do they leak oil...maybe.
Whattodo: Jack the car up. Get bright light. Oil and dusty schmuck is all around if leak is serious. And it really leaks.
The crank oil is pressurized. Pressure depends on rpm etc. Leak depends on temp etc.
