finally problem solved or so it seems
i put in new injector o rings and havent had a problem yet and its been two days
should have done it right away just a time consuming project i didnt want to do
brian i got that civic its going to be nuts (roll cage fuel cell 400+ whp)
no word on the beater max though kinda was hoping i could get it

Thanks for the update, I was really curious about what the problem was, I hate it when people post about a problem but don't follow up with how they solved it. Those injectors are fun to deal with aren't they...

VE= volumetric efficiency
but in this forum it's short for VE30DE, the motor that was used in all 7/91-2/94 Nissan Maxima SE models. It's a dual overhead camshaft motor that came before the more famous VQ series motor used in 95 and later maximas.

I know that your problem seems to be solved now but I have an 89 and had a problem much like you were having. The car would start when it wanted to and run until hot and then just die and would not restart. I replaced quite a bit of stuff for it to end up being the CPS it took me under 15 min to replace and my car runs like new. In my model it is located under the dis cap but if you have coils I'm not sure where your would be. Now if I can just get my heater to work...
