A Q about Painting

Ok I finally got around to sanding down and repainting my side trim with the Dupli-color auto paint, and the results are great! Now for the Question. I am starting to have some splitting and flaking on my front bumper. I'm tempted to try the Dupli-color on it, but I'm not sure if the paint will stick to that type of plastic. Anyone out there have any experience in doing this? Mabye an idea on a good plastic primer?? The car is starting to look tight (well like new-stock) but the front end is not helping, especially all the worn off paint under the front plate mount. Ok fire away folks, got any ideas??

as long as you take your time and do it right (ie: prep, prime, paint, wetsand, paint, wetsand, clearcoat...) rattle-can CAN look good.

I'm about to do the same thing when i can find a dust-free enviro to do it in.

If you have the time and a few bucks, paint the whole car. Its not as hard as it seems.

You can buy a good spray gun for 50 bucks and the base coat/ clear coat, with a sealer is all you need, cost around 300 in materials.

Scuff up the intire car. Just scuff it up,no need to go to metal or anything, unless you have rust repair. Use 400 grit, just dull the clear coat.

Tape the car off and spray a 2k sealer on it. No need for primer.
Then spray the base coat, then clear.

Takes a couple of days.

Here is some pics of my couger restoration:
