Are Dynomax mufflers any good?

They sell Dynomax mufflers at a local race shop for like $60. They are not straight through so Im wondering if they're any good. Anybody have any experience with Dynomax?

I had dynomax super turbo mufflers on my Mustang GT (along with an off-road x-pipe and 2.5" all the way) and it sounded good. I don't know about how it sounds on a Maxima, though. Mine droned a little on the stang, but I didn't notice much, since it was a convertible.

I would say they are better than a stock replacement and probably better sounding than most of the cheap ebay ricer mufflers out there. Mine were welded seams, but it was not stainless.

Mine sounded great on my Alty with a custom catback, very little drone, soft enough that the cops would leave you alone if you stayed off the pedal, and loud enough at WOT to know ya got somethin'.

Nice and deep too.

I have used DynoMax a couple of times and was pleased. It is probably theie SuperTurbo if it's not the straight through one (UltraFlow) If I were to use DynoMax I would use the straight through muffler with one of their bullet mufflers for a resonator. I used that setup and it was quieter than using the turbo muffler without a resonator which I have used once also. The straight thru flows better than the turbo.

I put one on the 88 Hardbody as a replacement muffler and it had a decent sound.

I dont quite need a muffler since its new but maybe next time I'll consider one, as long as it doesnt sound like a fart can ricer civic style. For now what I really need is a Catalytic, any suggestions for that? I need something cheap and good, if there's such thing.
