does anyone know how to fix the driver side door...(guess it would help if i told you what was wrong) um, it shuts weird, like it is a very harsh shut like the door is out of alignment, when you take the very end of it(like near the handle) you can move it up and down vertically, (that cant be good) thats about all i can tell you, any advice would be great

Happened to you too, didnt it? I currently have the same problem. Your door hinges have reached their end. You need to replace both the top and bottom hinges to fix the problem. You can get the hinges at Courtesy Nissan for less than $30 I think for both of them. I have the hinges sitting in my room still and I bought them about two months ago, I just havent gotten around to doing them yet. I will soon though. If I get them done before you, I will tell you how it went and what to do. Later. Clark

I have that same problem only on the driver's side.

However, I always thought that it went out of alignment and all I had to do was to loosen the four bolts around the hinges, align it, then tighten them up.

I had no idea new hinges were the key.

right but,

if it doesnt work, you go to the autoparts store and get shimms and bangem into place with someone pulling the door upwards as you do it, and dont forget you can adjust the stricker aswell(the part of te doorframe where the lock hooks into, is a "u"shaped latch which i believe has 4 arrows on it showing it's direction of movement)
