Okay......


So I decided to rebuilt the PS pump.....




Got it done pretty easily




But then, I found this...




Anybody with a parts car?

I need a power steering pump bracket

So did you need the crown royal after you found the broken piece?

I'll take a look at the engines I have laying around and see if I have that piece.

i can get it off my parts car....if you need it. how hard would it be to get off the car?

I do have an engine laying around, but the PS pully is bent, so that might be cracked too. Ill look at it.

weird, mine broke in almost the exact same way when I was doing my clutch job over 3 years ago

weird, I did my clutch about 9 months ago....I don't know what it is , but I think something was mis-aligned. SInce I switched to the UDP 3 years ago, I had been getting a squeal on that belt, it even broke on me once, but since the last time I changed the belt (when I did the clutch), it hasn't squealed, and that is probably because the brack broke THEN, and the pump was just being held on by one bolt (the one in the back)
