does it matter which kind of brake fluid i use for the clutch?

My car has over 200,000 miles on it and in the owners manual it says to use conventional oil of API SG 5W30 Energy Conserving. I heard Synthetic oil is better for high mileage cars and i was thinking about switching on my next oil change. could i do that even if it is a different API and not energy conserving, but its still going to be 5W30? i just want some advice thanks.

hi guys im wondering is it difficult to fit a cone filter over the stock air box? and does it give you more power?

Can someone tell me how to rev match exactly. Lets say your going from 3rd to second gear. Do you rev when your in 3rd gear and then change gears to second? or do u change gears first and then rev then start to release the clutch?thanks

is this product worth it? and does it fit into the stock intake for the VG30E. i know you have to take out the stock airbox, but is it difficult to install?

My guess is the heat From the brakes burns the fluid...Hence the discoloration...

Brake fluid absorbs moisture from the air and this discolors it.

sorry...i meant for the clutch MC...i thought it was heat but i figured it never happens in my brake MC so why does it happen in my clutch MC and clutch heat can't be anywhere nearly comparable to brake heat...

I have always used 10W30. As far a synthetic vs. regular goes, I find that Mobil1 works a little better for my VE engine, but when I had a VG like yours, I tried both and settled on the "high-mileage" half-synthetics made by castrol or mobil.

Yeah, better performance, and better gas mileage, especially when it's cold, check the "Stickies" for more info on CAI (Cold Air Intake). There are kit availible that actually re-routes the cone filter into the fender well: here what it looked like on my old car:

I don't know if that is a whole kit or just a filter and adapter, which would place the filter behind the battery, as opposed to in the fender well.
