havent taken the tire off to check things out yet, just thought id post a quick question about things to suspect and check.

clunking mainly when turning wheel left or upon deceleration but does clunk occasionally at speed as well...

suspecting maybe a wheel bearing? what else to look at/address?

maybe a front u-joint? front wheel drive cars are new to me...

thanks! brake pads in front are GONE so changing those 2night!

proboly a CV jiont in the drivers side axle which is simalare to a ujiont in a rwd car

should i suspect the outer or inner?

whats the best way to actually check once i have the car off the ground and the tire off?

any other good sources of parts other then allnissanparts.com? this car has around 60,000 miles on it... i dont want to be replacing stuff like this already!!

the easiest thing to do is just replace the whole axle you can get one from any parts store for 60-100$

well i dont know how to check the axle with the tire off the ground only like you said if it clunks around a turn its almost always the axle and its a very common problem ive replace a whole bunch on many dif carsincluding 3 on my own
