When i brought my 89 max it came with 2 alarms. The factory alarm and a remote alarm that opens and closes the door and automatic start. Both are working properly. What i wanna know is could i add a sensor shock(i think thats what its called) to the remote alarm i have now. I want the alarm to sound if someone breaks the glass or tries to lift the car to steal the rims. Or do i have to get a whole new alarm system.

i just have a stock alarm and it went off both times my windows were broken

i wonder if your alarm has like shock sensor. so if your parked and someone taps your bumpers will your alarm go off

I thought stock alarm was just for the doors,trunk and hood.

maybe they opened the door after they broke the window - either way when i found it it had the doors closed... seems odd that they would close the door both times - but its totally possible.

Maybe it was a polite crook. Anyway. Went to the alarm spot. He said it could be done for $40 includes installing which is maybe just connecting a couple of wires.
