Which ones

The ones that go on the window or on the body of the car or around your number plate?

Well, what's a good way to remove dealer stickers on windows? I have one on the back quarter window I would like to get rid of. Thanks.

Razor blade to scrape it off then some turps (or other spirit based cleaner) to clean off the residue. If you have window tinting film on the car then its a different story.

Non-chemical solution: You can try heating the decal up with a hair dryer, then pulling it off. That often gets all the adhesive, too. If not, then try rubbing it with your thumbtip while heating it up. It should come off easily.

Alright, Ill give that a whirl I guess, Neo.

I was talking about the body decals. But the sticker they put in the drivers window left a mark. You can still see the exact shape of it. Its kinda annoying too. The window has a slight tint to it too.

They will come off with a hair dryer of all things. Gently apply heat and peel them back. Then tidy up with some body cleaner (McGuiers etc - excuse spelling)

The windows have a slight brownish looking tint from the factory. There was a post a wee while ago about how this occurs. If you have an aftermarket tint film then you need to be really careful about how you clean it.

A good product for getting rid of the left-over residue is Goo Gone. We carry it where I work. You can get it shipped to you if you can't find it locally. MSC Industrial Supply Co. 1-800-645-7270. www.mscdirect.com
