door speakers

hey a while ago there was a link in the sticky's to a guys site that had info on how to make the custom speaker holders for your door speakers and other things like how to fix your digi clock ect....is the site still up and if so can i have the link

Anyone know if those mini amps with the bose speakers work with different speakers, and for new speakers can you just swap the wires form one to the other?

those amps barely put out anything useful. plus, the bose speakers operate at 1 ohm iirc, and most aftermarket speakers are 4 ohm. the higher impedance will make the situation worse by not utilizing much of the little power those amps are putting out.
