i bought a new tps a few weeks ago for my ve max so i ordered the tps form the auto parts store and when i looked at the box it said vg auto trans i didn't think it was a problem cuz it looked exactly the same as the old one but later i noticed that when its in idle the rpm drops below 1000 could it be cuz i have a vg tps????

 

should be the same on all A/T 3rd gens

 

oh i forgot to say i have m/t

 

The idle is supposed to be below 1000......around 750 or so.............

 

but the motor stumbles a bit after start up but it stays on 1000 later it drops down and it feels like it wants to shut off but it doesn't what could it be????

 

I would try cleaning your IAC valve and your Throttle body and go from there.......keep us posted

had to edit cause the alchohol Ive been drinkin made me think that you had a VG....haha sorry...

 

where is the iac located at????
