I'm gong to go broke!!!!

I was bored at work today, so I started making of list of all the stuff I would need to rebuild the engine, tranny, and some suspension goodies. After adding together all the prices (some items didn't have one listed) I'm ready to myself.

So far, it came out to a little over $4000 And that's not including the stuff I'm getting ready to buy.

Nope I didn't, I was looking that up at the end. Never did find a place with a good price.
I was also looking at a WW Spoiler, but couldn't find a price, and WW is busy moving.

One must have a perfectly running vehicle in which to put the stereo. My Maxima isn't some GHETTO vehicle where there's a $1000+ stereo system in a car that doesn't even move.

I feel your pain...I've spent probably 2000 on maintenance in three years, most of it was done by mechanics right after I got it (375 for timing belt). Mods...About 1200 on stereo and speakers, 700 for rims, probably 400 for bolt-ons, my tranny swap will ring in at around 800 total, we'll see if I get my $12 eibachs before I say how much suspension will cost me, and intake, exhaust, and tint should round it out for now plus painting the bumper covers. Eh, easy come easy go...

The mods were put off more due to funding, and work issues. (Hard to work on the car when I'm deployed for 8 months on the other side of the world)

Might be getting new rims here soon as well. A Co-worker has a 4th gen that is pretty banged up (let a "friend" borrow it while he went overseas) He's not looking to do anything with it, but wants new rims. So he might buy my Motegis, leaving me to buy some Exel 003

Triple G, I tried getting the wife to agree on the G35, but she's stubborn about it. She likes the style of the Exel.

I've spent wayy more than that

and didn't even have any of the engine stuff, SFCs, and body kit stuff.

Imagine the shell shock when I decided to add everything up one day

I will say though, fully modded they are sooo much fun to drive

You will easily spend over $2000 for suspension alone, not including wheels/tires.

Just estimating (always better to go high), it's been a while since I've bought stuff lol

Suspension - $2290
Koni's $550
Dustboots $60
Eibachs $230
Camber Bolts $40
LCA Bushings $35
Sway Bars $275
BlehmCo goodie package $750
-Stage II LTB
-RSTB
-Rear Parallel Link Kit
-Sway Bar Mounts
-SubFrameConnectors $350? (I don't remember and it doesn't say on their site)

Possibly needed suspension parts - $370
-Steering rack boots $40
-Steering rack bushings $10
-Inner and Outter tie rod ends $80+
-Ball Joints $40+
-Strut Mounts $200

Performance - $1915
Fidanza $350
Exedy $275
Transmission Seals/Gear Oil $100
Y-Pipe $200
GReddy $550
SAFC-II $265
CAI $175

Brakes - $750+
Wheels - $600+
Tires - $550+

$5980

You might want to beef up other stuff too
fuel pump $115
fpr $150
gauges (EGT/FPR/Oil Pressure) $350
wideband $350
porting consumables $80+

$7025

Then you'll have other stuff too
Axles
Starter
Water Pump
New hoses (vacuum/fuel/coolant)

And you still do not have AE goodies, stereo, and a Stillen kit
You have a low 14 second street car that can handle turns quite well

Sure is fun though

Well I'm getting Koni/Eibach setup for $695, new strut mounts, and possibly the RSTB, depending upon what my shipping comes to for the struts and such.

Of course I don't know how much longer the Maxima will have. The wife saw a nice IS300 tonight, and she's drooling over that. Just what I need, another car payment, and I'm also working on getting a house.
