Non stop horn.BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!!!!!!!!

Just walked in the house. I here a non stop horn. Its my car.Go out press the horn on the steering wheel. nothing. Turn the car on nothing. So i just disconnected the wires. Could it be cause the rain? Like something got wet. Is my battery gonna be dead in the morning? Maybe some relay?

lol maybe your button in the steering wheel is stuck? thats the most logical explaination I could come up with but I'm not a mechanic so I'll let the more knowlegeable guys answer.

In the meantime I would probably remove the fuse and plug the horn back in or I would take apart that cover on the steering wheel and see if its stuck inside probably dirt, gum, or any foreign gunk is in there cuz of all the years...good luck lol

I was cruisin the local strip and that happened a year ago. It just started blaring and stopped once I opened the door. I just disconnected it and used my exhaust(rev it) to get people to get out of my way etc...Tracking down electrical problems is a pain.

let me tell you what your problem probably is mine did the same thing while i was in school.theres a plate in the steering wheel that pushs down the clamps and grounds out making your horn go off and if one of the clips breaks it will cause your horn to go off

Went to the car put the fuse horn still beeeeeeeping. So took steering horn off took it apart back together nothing.Played with the horn relay nothing.Disconnected battery no beeping for about 15 seconds. Then it started. Looked at all ground connections . Looked ok. Checked all the door trunk and hood connections to alarm nothing. So i decide to go to autozone to buy a horn relay. Some site i went to said could be the relay. Get to autozone.Put the fuse to check one more time before i buy this relay. Everthing is silent. No beeping. 2 hours later no beeping. Horn is working.I dont know what i did but i got my horn back.

Watch at 3 in the morning itll starting going off lol.
