Break question
I noticed that i have to push the break pedal in quite a bit to get it to stop hard. but when i pump the breaks the push to brake delay gets shorter and shorter. could this be a hole in the vacum line? i have front disc rear drum with No ABS. any ideas?

cause i realized that crap aint worth losing my life (my car) over. i realized i put too much time money and love into my car. call me a ricer so be it. ill be called a ricer. but around here where everyone has civics with 2-4 fart cans and wings that are so rediculously huge and server no purpous then u realize who the ricers are. as for the law i stick by my statement. the law u cited was from 94 and before the time of major blue hid lights. and they are everywhere in CT cause most people are rich snoby *****. it is the most expensive state to live in the US. so everyone drives audi's bmw's and benz's. with heavy blue headlights. that would be considered illegal if it was related the the law you posted. *** for snapping ims orry having a ****ty week. my CV shaft boots ripped. i had a fuel injecter problem and my wallet is empty with the possibility of getting kicked out of my house cause my dads an *******. sorry i took it out here. but i had to vent somehow,

yes the blue lights are also illegal...if the cops have better things to do than to catch you and the blue light guys then that's fine...but don't think for one second that it's legal to drive around like that.
also...if you had a bad week doesn't mean you can come on the forum and trash it. learn to vent your anger other ways instead of resorting to temper tantrums.

well i unfortunately missed most of the drama the DanNY spoke of but do u really think CT is THE MOST EXPENSIVE state in the union to live? it might be the most presumptious but certainly not the most expensive...i doubt it's even in the top 10. dude,,,check ur facts before u spout things off...oh and a spellchecker wouldn't kill you either

the blue come from the projector cut off pattern. there's a line where there's no light and light...well at that line there's a slight bit of color (blue/purple) shade due to the project lense and the actual HID capsule. that's the slight color you're seeing.
your red lights doesn't equate what you call "blue" lights from an OEM HID car. the light output is actually WHITE...not blue.
of course you may have some retards out there sticking some funky color bulbs in the HID projector to force more color..but i'm referring to OEM applications only.
do your brakes feel spongy?
also stop arguing/debating/saying anything related to the stupid ct law. who gives a fukc. just stop responding to everyones comments. nobody really cares if your going to stick to wat you believe in or not. if you feel that you are absolutely correct, then you have every right in the world to. im not implying that your wrong, but if you continue to debate this topic with people on the forums, esp people who will eventually help you out bigtime in the long run such as danNY, your gonna lose out big and lose the help and information that can be offered by alot of ppl who will side with danNY and other longtime members.

while were on the breaking topic, anyone have a fix to squeeling brakes? my pads are fine and the rotors dont appear warped , but when breaking there is a little squeel , it's not bad at all but it's annoying , wondering if theres anyway to tone it down a bit?

Turning the rotors or replacing them will also help....

Best way to fix it, buy a wire brush and clean the calipers and pads, then apply grease everywhere where the pad touches the caliper and piston. Do NOT apply it to the face of the pad or the rotor. I'll get a picture of the grease to use tomorrow.
If you are still having problems after that, check the pad wear patterns and consider getting the rotors turned. (at that point you will probably be complaining of wobbly brakes though)
