i was trying to rewire my blinkers... and i cut the black wire from the side marker which i think was the ground and connected it to the +ve (green wire) of the turn signal... unfortunately this did not work. and now my blinkers dont work at all... i suspect a blown fuse, even though the side marker lights up when the headlights are turned on. but no turn signals... ideas anyone?

ok well

here is what i think you did. i bet you just opened the wire and wrapped it into it right? well you have to actually cut the black wire in half, run a wire from the pink on the front blinker to the black wire coming from the bulb of the corner part, and just tape the other half of the black wire off so it doesnt touch anything else. Your blinkers dont work becuase you are shorting them out by just merging a signal into a ground. try this and tell if it fixes it. good luck
