Anyone use Polarg M4s in their SE guage clusters
Anyone have any pics? I was just wondering if this was brighter and looked better than stock. I searched but noticed that most people use cheap autozone bulbs that faded out. I liked DanNY's guage lights but I think he used LEDs. So do you guys think Polargs would be ideal if I want a super white/ hint of blue look? Also if I wanted to use red bulbs which should I go with(brand wise)? I ask this because some red tinted bulbs appear emit pink light.
Thanks guys
Thanks guys

2k3- I have no idea what bulbs were used. I bought it that way.
I do know that doesn't light up as nice as my van's red gauges do.
Eventually I'll find those brackets, just not a priority right now.

Dan used LEDs I believe. I may be off but I think thats what he used. From the pics I got it looks that way because there are a few lighter spots than what the rest of it is. He either used the multi LED bulb or the inverse LED bulb. I used to know but its been so long since I saw his post on what he had (I know he posted it once...maybe that was someone else) I cant remember.
Here is a pic I know he posted
It appears to have the same bright spots as the bulbs I used (big inverse LED) but his is much brighter than mine was (I used blue).
I used the big inverse bulb from superbrightleds that someone posted earlier.

I have cluster LED bubls (thats five multi-directional LEDs) in each 194 socket... I found them on ebay for about 12 bucks a pair (you'll need four of course) they are the brightes bulbs I have seen and cover the most area

Heck they arent expensive...just buy both kinds and what you dont use keep as spares or sell to someone else. I mean your out an extra $6...thats worth it to me to see which ones are better.

Polarg B1 Hybrid's
Well here's my 194 Bulbs that I bought, they are Polarg B1 Hybrids. I've experimented with many different bulbs, and these have definetely turned out the best. They are about 25-35% brighter than the stock bulbs, and much whiter, with a very slight blue tint. I bought two packs of (2) for $12 each. They install in minutes, & there is no hotspots at all! They cant match to LED's, but they are pretty close, and pretty much the best you can do with bulbs. These pictures are identical to how they look in person, I got the white balance, and the brightness on the camera dead on! I wanted them to look realistic, cause you can really decieve the look & brightness of the bulbs with the camera. These pics are 95% accurate. Hope They Help!

come on guys...its pretty obvious that is an iverted LED...look about middle way of the LED and you will see the cone going into it. Again whether its the one Dan used or not I am unsure...if you search he says his were really really expensive so you might PM him for more answers.
I just know I used the blue ones and it did have some spots that were lighter than others and were not that bright (probably because they were blue).
