ve intake help

ve intake help

sup all, i need some help wit a CAI install on a ve. i bought it from cosmoracing.com but it never really came wit instruction, i have no idea where the hole has to be made, and it looks like the filter is gonna be in the fender, how would that be accessible to change, does that mean the hole i make has to be the same size as the filter?? need sum help peeps, i hope i dunt sound to stupid askin this.

Here is a template a friend of mine made for a CAI just like the one you are talking about.

Yes the filter will be in the fender and you need to take the plastic fender liner out to change it. Not hard but more than just popping it out from the original location.

Not many people have that set up. I am pretty sure the one he bought is designed to enlarge the hole already in the sheetmetal closer to the firewall, like the template Michael linked.
