Axle or bearing issue??

Over the past couple years both axles were changed out. Now I have this sort of rapid bumping feeling on the passenger side on hard corners(slow and fast anything at all aggresive.). And when comming to a stop most of the time there's a brushing kind of sound. Can a bad bearing cause a thumping feeling?

Jack it up and wiggle the wheel...A bad bearing will have good bit of play in the wheel...

When my bearing went bad, I heard a constant "woosh woosh woosh" coming from that wheel when going above 40 mph.

I’d definitely check the wheel bearing. Do the wheel wobble test. If it wobbles, then your dealing with a bad wheel bearing. If the sound you are hearing is more of a “click-click-click-click” even if it’s a muffled click then you’re dealing with replacing the half-shaft (aka axle).

Or it could be the gusset bushing of the transverse link, might be torn or missing a portion with just enough gone to be noticeable during the momentum transitions. This is not a high probability, but as long as you’re under the car, take a look.

Well no wheel wobble... I'm scared I might of over tightened the axle nut and damaged the bearing. Definetly a 'woosh' sound. I'll change the bearing and hope that fixes it.

Which is the better part?
http://oem.overnightautoparts.com/pa...aring&dp=false

I noticed the cheaper one is packable. Where as I know OEM is not.

Well how much did ya torque it to? If I remember correctly, the FSM wants from 174 to like 224 or something.. My torque wrench barely went to 150 I would go with 200 if I could.

I can get the NSK (OEM) for less than that price shipped if you want
