cable under the seat

Hi.. to all
Does any one know what is a cable under the drivers seat, I have one that is black whit the connector detach, they go there but i do not know what are they for

probably for power seats; the connector is there even if you do'nt have the power option I think

well i had one like that and it went to a old motorola cell phone. maybe thats what it is. do you have a small antenna on the back window??

I think if it were for power seats, it would be a wiring harness.

I have a cable too. I have a cell phone antenna on my back window too.

I was wondering the same thing. I think your right, dnas.

I disconnected mine a long time ago and never knew what it was for...but this weekened when I was cleaning my car I decided to figure it out. I dont have power seats so thats not what I think it is for. I am pretty sure that it detects if you lap belt is on. Cuz now that mine is plugged back in when ever I forget to buckle my lap belt I get a little ding.
