R-12 substitute?

Has anybody tried this R-12 substitute? Pepboys carries it. Was gonna convert my AC to R-134a but if I dont have too ,less work for me.

Yeah. suppose to be a sub. for the original r-12.So you wont have to convert to r-134a.

Bite the bullet and convert it. Not too much money involved, and it's a selling point for you and your resale. Besides.... some of the R12 substitutes are highly volatile.

Why not just vacuum out the R12, and put r134a into your current system?

yeah and usually once you put a substitute in shops either don't like to work on it or charge more for disposal fees. My advice is to have the system purged and fill with 134a, it will eventually kill the compressor but it should buy you a few years.
