hello folks, would someone kind enough to post a wiring diagram for the dashboard lighting.

Mine went kaputh last night, no light in the gauges, shift indicator and in the vent control....total darkness - at nightdriving!

Try looking for a blown fuse....

 

look and see if your rear running lights work or don't work (not the brake lights). On lots of maximas, a short occurs in the rear lamps. As a safety feature the dash lights are on the same circuit-so that you figure out somethings wrong with the car. Then again, I guess it could just be the dash. any recent car stereo install in the dash?

 

It's probabaly your "tail light fuse" the same thing happened to me after I was installing my stereo. Check the fuse with a meter if it doesn't look blown. Mine was bad even though it didn't look it.

 

Happened to me recently too, if you taillights are out also... it might be a broken fuse

 

you guys were right.....it was a blown tail light fuse......why i never thought of it. duh.
