the car looks really clean every where but the engine bay where it looks like a hunk of junk that has been sitting for years.

A little tip that might help you sell it but will not cost you but a little time would be to clean the engine bay and paint the little pieces that are rusted (vacuum tube in front of the upper IM and the radiator supports).

Thats a little thing but believe it or not it goes a long way in helping to sell one. for the engine bay walls just grab a rag and spray armorall or something similar on rag adn wipe it all down. Also do the same with the hoses etc.

it will not take that much time and will only cost you a can of spray paint but it will help.

I would probably not spray the motor with a hose or anythign though...that may cause you some problems. Just blow off the dust and dirt with an air hose then clean the rest like I said.

id keep her and just look for a cheap 4 banger and keep the max as a project. VE's r gettin' harder and harder to find. actually 3rd gens in general r gettin' harder to find especailly in good condition.

You guys just don't understand how Montreal winters are...a lowered car cannot pass thru winter for sure...so I'm selling it to buy a newer car. I'm gonna miss the high-rpm shifting of that VE

They must not be that great, because I have had hardly any responses to mine and it has been up for sale for quite a while. Considering the condition and mods mine has, I think the price is more than fair, too.

good luck selling your car. It looks pretty good and with a few minor things, like Michael pointed out, it will look a lot better.
