Ok So My Trunk Isnt Opening And I Think The Trunk Pop To The Left Of The Driver Side Seat Is Broken And Wont Pop The Trunk. The Trunk Is Locked Shut And The Key Doesnt Work!!!! I Have Taken The Back Seat Out And Cant Get To The Latch Beacause I Have And Enclosure And 3 Golf Bags In The Trunk. I Have Managed To Get To Driver Side Brake Light Bulbs Off But Cant Get To The Bolts To Remove The Reflector!

Any Help And Pics Of Empty Trunks Would Be Appreciated... Can I Manually Pop The Trunk Latch With My Fingers?

 

you can manually pop the latch with your fingers, it's a bit hard to do though.

if you can reach the latch you may want to play with the Valet lockout that is right by it. you may have accidentally switched it to lockout which prevents the lever up from functioning..

of course you could always take most of that junk out of your trunk through the back seat and have some room to work in there.

 

i got it open... oiled the key lock and it worked... thx though

and i couldnt get my sub box out through the back seat or it wouldve been easy

 

Yeah I was just going to suggest trying to lube the mechanism. It was over two years of thinking I didn't have the trunk key (glad I had the remote switch). A locksmith put a bunch of graphite in the lock and now it works. Who knew?
