Need help removing Intake Manifold on Max 90

Hello,

I pulled upper and lower manifold, took out the fuel injectors rail, now i need to pull out the Intake manifold , i took out all 8 bolts ( 4 nuts and 4 bolts ), but i have no luck. it's stuck. I'm trying to change the gaskets, because they are leaking oil right to the injectors causing my car to have bad starts due to oil in the injectors.

any ideas please help

please help

thank you....scrui

The upper and lower manifold IS the Intake Manifold. You mean remove the throttle body?

I hope that is all I will need to pry this thing up, because just with sheer strenght, didn't work at all.

I just thought maybe there's was something else i needed to loosen to get this thing out, that i wasn't aware of it.

I've never pulled apart a VG but what about the passages where the coolant flows through, did you unbolt that part?

Update -

I was able to pry the Intake, I took your advise MygreenMax94.
I used a crow bar and placed were you told me and with a little pressure,
it loosen itself.....thanks.

man, no wonder the injectors were full of oil and gunk , the gaskets were shot. this will defenitely make my ride much smoother going forward.

thank you.
