Infinity j30 intake

I havent done any research on this yet, but i was just wondering if anyone has ever saw the intakes on the j30 infinity cars, they are different than the maxima but these cars are also rear wheel drive, are there differences in these engines that could be swapped for power gains. Just a thought

by the way if u all dont remember the transmission from the 300zx bolts up to the maxima motor (ve30de) which in turn i would think that the 300zx motor can bolt up to the ve30de motor anyone care to state other wise?

I think your right.. The motors can bolt right up to each other, yes..

But if your asking what I think your asking, no I don't think the VG30DE will bolt up in place of the VE.. And I don't think I have to explain that.

ok, lots of misinformation going on
1. yes the VG motor and the VE all share the same bellhousing bolt pattern
2. J30 = RWD VG30DE <- motor never used FWD
.. I30= FWD VQ30DE <- Different animal than either VG or VE
300z = VG30E from 84-89 which is the motor shared with the 89-94 SOHC maxima (85-88 maxima was a VG30i) or VG30DE was used from 90-96

the VEs intake manifold is a pretty nice piece in stock form and doesn't need help.
