If your are going to go through all that trouble with taking out the auto tranny them maybe you should consider an 5speed vg or vlsd ve. Would be the best bang for the buck. Me personally i did the swap real easy set-up

I had a auto tranny held up under normal driving conditions w/o using that power & comfort mode button but i got that itch to be begain a legacy of performance tunning and it did not hold up. I just suggested that a 5 speed is way cheaper to rebuild and swap over to the max. i have got all the info i needed to do the swap i was kind of nervous at first but once i got that stubborn auto out i saw that there was green pasture on the other side of the forest.

Also i had my auto tranny rebuild and the cheapest price i went with was 1200$ never again

Ouch, you could buy a VG 5spd for that, maybe even a VE 5spd with some miles.

yea really!....................... good luck!........................ these cars are a "dime a dozen" and can be bought for a little or nothing. but to those of us who have max know the real deal behind them. the power the styling the comford the easy repairs and also the reliablility of them. its a reason why you notice these car still on the hwy's there were built right from the start with minor defect that was eaisly repairable once repaired.
