Clutch question
Clutch question
if the springs on the pressure plate are worn out, would it effect/explain the loss of pressure in the hydrolic lines of my clutch master/ slave/ pedal?
because ive posted maybe 3 threads about my clutch problem and this is what the guy said
reason he said was because:
when he started the car and had to pump the clutch (to get pressure in order to depress the clutch) he put it in 1st and let go of the clutch a little and heard a loud THUD. sooo when i came to pick it up he told me and i said to him that i had that happen 2 times to me

If you need to pump it, either your master or slave cylinder is leaking. Replaced BOTH. Change that first, then proceed.
Don't get a slave from autozone! (I bought 3, they all quit or leaked from the start.)
I got my GOod one from napa.

yep autozone and kragen /smuckers/checkers all suck they will leak or eventual sooner than normal fail leaving you stranded. and also maybe your adjustment screw underneth your dash to master cylinder has too much play not allowing the fluid to remain pressurized.
