Run in with a '87 Max SE

Not literally.
I was sitting at a stop light, checking out the cars around me, a rice check, when I see a black 2nd Gen pull up in the other lane, a couple cars back. Light switches green and Im cruisin, watching what this 2nd Gen is doing. It weaves in and out of traffic, getting next to me, and passing me. "Oh, were not going to have any of this" I thought. Drop from 5th to 3rd and blow by them, giving the guys in the 2nd Gen a smile. I slow down and let them catch up. They gesture to roll down my window, but I dont have my door panel on, so I cant. The driver yells "Not too bad for an '87!"We get to the next light. I pull next to them, talking to them with my door cracked open. He was pretty proud of his car. He thought my car was newer though, Im not sure why. I told him it was a '91. Both cars are 5spds. I pull up the the interstection, they get right behind me, Im in front. I see a couple cops roll by. My light hits green and I wait till the cops are out of sight before I punch it. Halfway through 2nd I hit it. I pulled and pulled and pulled till about 80mph, when I let off. As soon as I hit about 60mph, another cop goes by me. That was really close.
We pull into a neighborhood and chat a bit about our Maxes and our kills. Nice guys, although thug-wannabees.
Although this is pretty pointless, it is the first time Ive found over Max racers here in Nebraska. I was pretty happy I killed them too.
