UDP squeal!?!?!

I Installed my UDP last week and my Power stearing Belt and air conditioning belt slips and squeals like a damn pig, has anyone else had this problem...

When i installed the belt i tightened the tensioner pulley all the way even snapped 2 screws cuz of it so i am thinking that i need a smaller belt. has anyone else gone this route?

Any feedback is helpful,
Alex

I have a VE, but it required different sized belts.

Notice the name underdrive pulley. Thus, the pulley isn't the same size as stock. I also bought Goodyear Gatorback belts, which prevent slippage, even if they are little loose.

Yes, mine usually happen when it got cold. I just jacked up the car and readjusted them. No more loud annoying squealing.

make sure to do it when your car has cooled down due to expansion.

I got the 040450 belt on but since i broke the stock screw that adjusts the tensioner pulley up and down i am waiting for a friend to help me hold the tensoiner pulley in place so i can put the shorter screw in...

Other than that i looked at the power stearing belt and i guess it was looser than i though so i think this should be the last time i have to mess around with the UDP for awhile...

On the positive side i am getting expirence with changing belts and stuff!

thanks for those of you who took this seriously.
Alex

The 040460 is the belt recomended by unorthodox, im trying the 040450 since some other people have had the same problem with the belt being loose.
