So, I just bought a 93 maxima. It's in near perfect cond with only 50k miles. I love it! However, I don't have the cars number to reset the keyless entry code. Any idea where I can get that?

in the manual that comes with the car it says you can go to a dealer to have it changed by telling you the seven digit master code and then you can choose the four digit personal to get in the car

What you really need to do...

Look under the dash on the passenger side of the car. Look for a little plaque that has a bunch of numbers on it. One of those numbers, when typed on the keypad, will allow you to enter in your own number. Look in the manual and it'll give the exact directions.

Hey Greyboy,
I just bought a 1989/90 Gey Maxima and thanks to you I was able to reset my keyless entry in seconds. Do you know where I can get my hands on a Bose stereo, mine is out.
Thanks for the info.
