Any word on the new brackets? I haven't heard from james recently so I don't know if he's still doing this. I sent his a diagram for a way to make some nice angled brackets. Here it is if anyone else wants to attempt it. I'd do it if I had the time...but I just don't.
That jig will make 2 angled circles from 3 flat circle pieces glued together. These identical halves can be used to make 2 separate sides of the brackets, cutting the work load in half. You'd have to experiment with it to get the design perfect so that speakers fit, are at a good angle, and the thing is sturdy when you're finished. This should get some minds going on a way to make some extra cash from the 3rd genners who are willing to spend some cash on a nice product. This is an cross-section example of what the final product would look like when built:
