Heater problem

My hot/cold slider is not moving past the midpoint of the Hot and Cold spectrum leaving me with nothing but cool air. Here in MD it's been unseasonally cold lately so i really want to fix this problem. Any ideas? I've taken apart the dash to investigate the matter, and i don't see any kinks in the tension line that connects from the unit to the heater core or whatever it goes to under the dash, i even cleaned both ends. Any ideas or suggestions would be awesome thanks.

There's another thread about this somewhere on here with pictures. The slider track gets bent up after time and it'll get stuck where it is. Your best bet is probably a new heater control from the ol' junkyard.

Here's an excellent writeup on removing the heater controls.
