one leak i've known about for a while. the other i just found out about when i was seafoaming.
unfortunately, the latter will involve replacing my ENTIRE exhaust system between manifold and muffler, due to extreme amounts of rust on all the cat bolts.

Gas leak first without a doubt, due to the danger of gas leaking out of your car,and with the price of gas these days, hell it's expensive enough as it is..
The exhaust leak/hole could possibly be welded up by a exhaust shop..Got any pics of the exhaust leak area?

and if your exhaust isnt even noisy with the leak.. that can wait, for a long long long time if you wanted. its just an exhaust leak..

that's from like 4" away from the spot of the leak, underneath the car.

Obviously, both need to be fixed but most folks have limited time and budget. The gas leak fix is around $25 in OEM parts and less than an hour of your labor. The exhaust leak is more costly and time consuming. As mentioned, if the exhaust components are all rusted out, then you need more expensive replacement parts.
I've recently done the gas leak fix...piece of cake. Been holding out on replacing exhaust manifold studs and gaskets as the car has more pressing maintenance needs.

I dont know dude but I honestly found this poll kind of pointless....I hope you were just bored and not seriously trying to figure out which of the 2 to do first.
In my opinion, it's obvious that you should do the exhaust first cuz you're creating noise pollution everytime you turn your car on

my exhaust was completely broken off right there where you say your leak is....the inside got fumed once or twice when the shift boot (not the leather one, but the rubber seal underneath) got unset, but other than that, i drove it like that for a little over a year.
It was loud and annoying sometimes, but nothing critical....i lost gas mileage of course, but gained a little more power
+1 for gas leak.

Maybe I'm blind, but I don't see where your leakin'. If it's a little exhaust leak, betcha could fix it [enough for the meantime] with one of these:
http://automotive.hardwarestore.com/...ir-101061.aspx
For only a couple bucks, too!
With the cheap parts for the fuel leak, no excuse to do both.

haha, I got to admit, I've used that stuff. A couple of years ago, I broke an exhaust pipe off while on vacation in my Chevy van. Of course, it broke in front of the muffler. The 350 was mighty loud with no muffler. The pipe was rusted out pretty bad, so I slipped a slightly smaller pipe inside, then wrapped some of that muffler repair crap around it, and then slapped on a couple of clamps just to put some pressure on the smaller pipe to keep it from slipping out of place. It wasn't pretty, but it kept the beast quiet enough to drive for the rest of our vacation, and tow the camping trailer back home. It certainly isn't a permanent repair, but in a pinch it might get the job done.
