If you can do a 9006 to 9005 conversion you can have them fit your car.

first and foremost the European E36 projector headlights both hi and low beam take H1 bulbs so if you have that type of headlight i wouldn't recommend converting them over to a 9004 or any other type bulb size. For one H1's are better and you can get after market H1 bulbs that also give off a HID looking light.

I guess I should have addressed this to those that have E36, non projector headlamps. They take 9006, and 9005 bulbs. Sorry for the confusion.

The 9011 and 9012's CAN be adapted for use in 9005 and 9006 plugs, I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with them.

It doesn't have any pictures of the actual lights from those bulbs. And personally, I like the blue tint.

I tried HIR lights and didn't find too much better light output. I prefer the sylvania silverstar ultras. The HIR's were bright, and lit up alot of area, but were slightly yellowish, like a regular bulb. The sylvania's are super white, which I prefer personally. I returned the HIR's, needless to say.
