Hey guys whats up. i have a 1992 Maxima with the 3.0 I was drivin the other day running fine and everything was good. I make a turn and hit the gas and it backfires a little bit then completely cuts out. I tried to start it again and it acts like it wants to start and is almost there but doesnt. Has a little backfire kinda when trying to start. I have fuel, spark, and i even tried starting fluid to see if it would help but nothing. Any help appreciated. I am on side of road and dont wanna get towed!

 

timing is probably off. check that the distributor is still tight.

 

When my MAF sensor quit, it acted just like that.

try distbuter cap fuel filter or injectors are clogged

 

take off your distribitor cap and check the bolt holding the rotor in place, this is assuming you have a vg engine.

 

Check vac lines!
