Cruise control, 5spd swap rewire troubleshooting help

Hey fellas, what's good?
After I did my 5spd swap I couldn't get my cruise control to work. According to the write ups I read I had to connect the green and black wire with the brown wire in order for the car to start.

Yesterday I reconnected the green and black wire along with the brown to their original postions.....now my cruise control works!!

The problem now is that the car won't start unless its in neutral(5spd). The clutch pedal doesn't have any contacts on it so when I press the pedal while the car is in gear, any gear I won't start. The only pedal that has the contacts is the brake, it has the cruise cancell switch and the switch to let the car start when it was an auto.

Do you think the connector that was plugged into the auto shift assembly can be bridged to let the car start in gear?
Does anyone have an idea on cancelling the neutral switch?

Having it this way is cool only because I park my car in a parking garage and those guys can't drive.
