trunk wont close!!!

after i opened my trunk today when i tried to close it it didnt. the two connecters wont click togther and my trunk isnt closung. the trunk goes down but it doesnt lock. please i need help as to what to do

check to make sure your switch isn't stuck for the automatic trunk opener...sometimes switch will stick.

its not i checked that...what else can i do?? can i order that part from somewhere and what is that piece called?

well thats worse...but i want my trunk to lock damnit

if you look closely at the lock mechanism itself, there is a little black tipped movable arm there on the lock....there is a possiblity that is stuck....check it out, if thats the problem it need some lube.

i checked that out it aint that...any other ideas???

how did this happen? I mean, one day it just stopped working? Did you jar the trunk too hard or anything? Nothing blocking the lock from engaging to the bottom lock or anything?

Mine is the exact opposite! I can't open my trunk by using it's switch. I have to literally get out of the car and use another spare keys to open my trunk.

Neither my key, the button on the door or the remote for the alarm opens my trunk...
