once i shift to second, my car doesnt move, till i get to high rpms anyway. i've been using 93 octane and using fuel cleaners thinking that would help, but it hasnt. so anyway, about the talon, my cousin has a 95 talon and we both have upgrades on intake and exhaust and i know the maxima weighs alot more then a talon but i'm not one to make excuses. i'm just wondering why second gear is lagging so much. thanks

 

im not quite sure but i thought 3rd gear is the gear where our maximas have most torque..

 

what model talon was it? a TSI (esp one that's modified) will walk you day in and out no matter what your mods are...

 

Wonder what would have happened if you had 190 horses of a VE???
My second gear loves to pull hard and up the RPM's.

i know i should of got a 92-94, but i'll be getting a new car here soon so i'll live.

the talon wasnt the turbo tsi, it was an esi or whatever the nonturbos are called.

 

Maybe its the butt dyno thats off.
