i was looking at my friends 94 max
and saw this wierd looking rubber thing in the trunk

what is that thing??????

its a weight. i guess it assists in rear handling. i removed mine since i put a stereo back there anyway.

nuthin happens when u remove it...its better if u do if u want a system in there

If you hit it, it sounds like it's a sound supression device for going over bumps. I forgot what the intended purpose of it is though.
