Hey I'm wondering if the fender scoops or whatever there called on this car http://www.geocities.com/craigbrace/...r/MVC-061X.jpg are from a BMW Z3 if not what car are they off of. Another question is how would you install something like this. Are they molded on the stock fenders or are those new fenders or what??? How would you do this????

yes, the side vents are from a Z3. the hood thingy is totally custom.
personally I think they look stupid on a max, but then again I don't own that car.
the work to mould them in is totally custom, but any competent body shop can do stuff like that. a little work with sheet metal cutters and fiberglass/bondo, and you're done.
expect to pay close to $1000 to have it done though, because you'll have to have the fender colormatched and the entire front end of the car repainted (because you can never match color 100% on a car like this) best thing to do is repaint both fenders, hood, and half the front doors, then spray clear coat all the way to the back ot the back doors.. that'll give the best blend..
it'll also cost $1000 easy.

or you could just buy a Z3 ;p and not try to make a max look like something it's not.. (ghetto)

ooh god
and it has hood pins too
uhhh
The beauty with the maxima is it's not a "sports car" techinically, and it doesn't look like a sports car. Which makes it one hell of a sleeper baby ya
aha

all those would do is slow you down unless you had custom intake, which, in that case the scoops may acutally serve a purpose of...scoopin.

Those don't really look like Z3 side vents to me, too wide.

I just wont to make my car original looking, just add my own style to it. It would be boring if every ones cars where just exactly the same just maby a diffrent color. What some people like you may not like, what you like some other people may not like them..
