I own a 1990 SE automatic and have been wanting to get an aftermarket muffler. I want one that is as quiet as possible but still high flow. I was thinking of getting a Dynomax Muffler. I was wondering what i need to know before getting it (inlet size, dimensions, etc.)so I know what to order. Thanks for the help.

Hmmm......

I know what you mean, but quiet and aftermarket muffler can't "co-exist" .... I've found that any aftermarket muffler on a Max, will lead to a deep V8 drone or a deep buzz (similar to boosted Civic, if you ever heard one). I have the Dynomax Race Magnum on my 91 GXE and after the car heats up that thing gets loud and has a nice deep V8 style growl/drone to it....personally I like cause it sounds so much better than the "buzz saw" sounding exhausts most of the Hondas around my way have......just my $.02! but if you get one, go with Dynomax Race Magnum, you won't be dissapointed, I know Dmontzmax will probably tell you the same too since hes got one as well!

for stock pipipg get a muffler with a 2.25" inlet, thats the only dimension you need to worry about!
