I saw some info on this at Cheston Chiu's web page.

Has anyone else tried this? My car needs a new clutch set so this would be a good time for me. Any info is appreciated.

"Jay Lee, a SoCal Max track racer recently did some research on clutches for manual speed Maximas. His report concluded that: ACT has a great pressure plate that the Maxima needs. 2165lb clamping force vs. stock 1480. As far as the clutch itself, swapping to a 300Z clutch over the Max disc might be particularly good. The 300Z clutch disc has THE STRONGEST (heavily emphasized THE STRONGEST) hub center of ANY 240mm disc. It's the same disc used for the 300HP 300ZTT, but cut down a bit to fit the 300Z NA's smaller flywheels/pressure plate. This, along with the 46% increase in pressure plate clamping force, should give us a pretty nice heavy duty clutch for our bad habits (track driving, drag racing, etc..) At a price tag of around $275 (for pressure plate, disc, and bearings) this makes it a good replacement choice."
