Which Oil Filter?

What kind of oil filter/oil do you guys use..

Amsoil filter (or OEM) with Amsoil 10-40 H/P Synthetic.

Btw, including an Amsoil engine flush this is the only combination thats completely eliminated the infamous VG cold start lifter tick for me after trying Mobil 1 and Castrol Formula R w/OEM filters.

I've read an pretty in-depth analysis a while ago which took apart various oil filters and judged them based on filter element surface area, materials, construction quality, anti-drainback valve type/quality, etc, etc. It seemed pretty objective and sound to me. Basically it said the universal Fram filters are total crap (they also make Penzoil and Quaker State filters) having the cheapest construction, least filter area, and even scarier, a letter from a former Fram employee. The best filters seem to be from Purolator, Wix (?), Motorcraft, and AC Delco. Purolator filters seem to be best with the highest filter area and good quality. Pretty interesting reading. Unfortunately I lost the link somewhere along the line (it was some kind of Mopar enthusiast site), but have the pages saved on .doc files if anyone wants to read them.
